Job summary

Bay Converting Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support the laminating operation, loading/unloading fiberglass insulation and facing materials, and moving rolls with forklifts while maintaining accurate packing and shipping documentation.

The role requires safe forklift operation, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure a smooth production flow. You will also manage inventory records in the ERP and assist with shipments and inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Familiarity with fiberglass insulation or metal building insulation preferred.
• Ability to read Bills of Lading, Packing Slips, and work orders clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Basic computer and inventory management proficiency.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport raw materials and finished laminated rolls using forklifts.
• Ensure materials are delivered in correct order and quantity for continuous laminator operation.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and packing of goods.
• Process outgoing shipments per customer/carrier requirements.
• Verify incoming shipments against PO and packing slips; report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ERP data; perform regular counts.
• Support production and shipping to ensure on-time order fulfillment.
