Job summary

Flowserve in Maryland is seeking a Material Handler to load and unload trucks, package and unpack materials, stock and pull parts, and support shipping and receiving. The role may require operating a forklift to move goods around the facility.

Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to work overtime, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 occasionally. Flowserve offers comprehensive benefits from day one, including health coverage and retirement

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
Forklift experience preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

Unload incoming shipments.
Verify bill of lading and packing lists; resolve discrepancies.
Record materials received against purchase orders; ensure ERP receipt within 24 hours.
Verify outbound shipments; properly package to prevent damage.
Maintain filing and archiving; follow warehouse processes and safety rules.
Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally.
Ability to operate a forklift and use Microsoft Office.
