Job summary

A global staffing and IT services organization is seeking a Material Handler for a position in Laurel, MD. Qualifications

• High school Diploma or local equivalent.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language.
• Proficient in basic mathematics.
• Ability to communicate well and work with others.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. during 8 to 10 hrs shift.
• Ability to utilize automated lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork lifts.
• Receive/issue material requisitions from internal and external departments.
• Process material against purchase orders using electronic material management system.
• Coordinate with on-site warehousing facilities for parts replenishment.
• Perform cycle audits and physical inventory.
• Help reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Assist in training of new hires.
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
