Job summary

Flex-N-Gate, a leading automotive supplier, is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate daily production floor activities and material movements. You will read instructions and move materials to lines, ensuring FIFO flow and proper storage.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory, maintaining housekeeping, following safety rules, and reporting equipment issues. A high school diploma and forklift/Hi-Lo experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Core competencies required on the production floor include safety, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements and read work instructions.
• Inventory materials and supply work cells as needed.
• Load or unload materials as required.
• FIFO materials to line and storage areas.
• Read part numbers and distinguish between them.
• Bring correct containers to work area without disrupting production.
• Place finished goods in proper area.
• Report equipment issues to supervision or management.
• Work with a team and be flexible with overtime.
