Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Washington. You will receive, pick, stage and move warehouse items using forklifts and automated pickers, ensuring accuracy and safety on the dock.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of related experience, GED or high school diploma, and active certifications for powered industrial trucks. A safety-focused mindset and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or GED.
Four plus years related experience and previous certifications on powered industrial trucks.
Proficient with computer systems and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

Receive, pick, stage load or return correct warehouse items using equipment as required.
Operate automated picker machines to select and move units as available.
Read production work orders and stage material accordingly; inspect for accuracy.
Load product on delivery trucks when required.
Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or return to vendor.
Maintain certification for sit-down/stand-up forklifts and related equipment.
Perform daily inspections of powered industrial equipment and report maintenance issues.
