Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a full-time Material Handler for our West Salem facility to perform shipping, receiving and stocking duties. The role requires forklift operation, scanning, and adherence to safety policies, with 1st shift hours from 7:30am CST until completion of the day.

Pay rate is $22/hour plus benefits after 30 days of employment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma and 1–2 years of warehouse experience, with a strong teamwork and safety mindset to support a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and replenish stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick orders using a forklift and report shortages or damage.
• Use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting per WMS.
• Collaborate with the WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap and prepare material for safe shipping; arrange on trucks with proper weight distribution.
