Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift Loader to pull customer orders, stage and load on the loading dock, utilizing forklift equipment and order pickers. The role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, can read English, perform basic math, and follow written/oral instructions. Full-time benefits are provided, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year related experience
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage correct warehouse items at the loading dock
• Use hand-held scanner to locate items and move to dock door
• Move damaged items to reclaim or RTV area
• Operate forklift and order picker as required
• Maintain safety and good housekeeping on dock and in warehouse
• Inspect products for quality as pulled and loaded
• Aim for efficient item pulling without compromising accuracy
• Assist in unloading/loading trucks as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
