Job summary

QXO is seeking a Material Handler to support daily yard and warehouse operations by pulling, staging, and loading materials for delivery or production. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and a fast-paced outdoor environment.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with inventory and shipping, collaborate with warehouse, production, and delivery teams, and help maintain organized storage and safe working environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or material handling operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Forklift experience and safe operation skills.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming materials.
• Stage, pull, and prepare materials for orders and deliveries.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Verify order accuracy and product specs prior to shipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and delivery teams.
• Maintain organized storage locations and safe work areas.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
