Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a Lumberyard Loader / Puller to support yard, warehouse, and delivery operations by pulling, staging, loading, and verifying building materials for customer deliveries and intercompany transfers.

The role requires detail-orientation, safety focus, and the ability to operate forklifts in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The ideal candidate will be able to read work orders, manage inventory accurately, and collaborate with Yard Leads, drivers, and warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Detail-oriented with strong safety mindset and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Pull lumber, hardware, siding, and other building materials according to work orders.
• Verify quantities and record pulled quantities on tickets.
• Stage orders for delivery and organize bundles for shipment.
• Load delivery vehicles safely and ensure shipments are complete.
• Operate forklifts and perform pre-shift inspections.
• Maintain clean, organized yard and comply with safety policies.
