Job summary

QXO, Inc. is seeking a Lumberyard Loader / Puller (Material Handler) to support daily yard, warehouse, and delivery operations. This outdoor role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to operate forklifts while handling heavy building materials.

You will pull, stage, load, and verify items for customer deliveries and intercompany transfers in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working with yard leads, drivers, and warehouse

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick tickets, and loading documentation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with Yard Leads, drivers, and warehouse personnel
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and prepare lumber and building materials using work orders and tickets
• Verify quantities and record pulled quantities
• Stage orders according to delivery schedules and priorities
• Load delivery vehicles safely and verify contents
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
