Job summary

Powell in North Canton, OH is seeking a Material Handler to support material flow, inventory control, and record keeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will handle receiving, stocking, and restocking materials, use scanners or computer systems to update records, and may operate a forklift to move materials around the shop. A High School diploma and English fluency are required, with flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to learn computer systems, databases and software.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate with co-workers.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock and record materials for the organization.
• Communicate material needs with staff and management.
• Fill workstations with appropriate hardware and material.
• Maintain records of materials using a scanner or computer.
• May operate a forklift to transport materials.
• Follow safety and manufacturing policies to ensure quality.
