Gasser Chair Company is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support efficient material movement across our manufacturing operations in Youngstown, OH. You will work with logistics and production teams to ensure the right materials are available when needed, maintaining accurate records in the ERP system.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory/ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely move raw materials, components, and finished goods to production or storage locations.
• Receive shipments, verify quantities, inspect materials.
• Assist with inventory counts and update ERP transactions.
• Stage and replenish materials at workstations based on schedules.
• Load and unload trucks and verify shipments.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain accurate material movement records in ERP.
• Follow safety policies and participate in training.
• Identify opportunities to improve material handling processes.
• Collaborate with production, shipping, and inventory teams.
