Job summary

Powell is seeking a Material Handler to support a designated division with material handling, inventory control, and record keeping. You will stock, restock, and ensure accurate records across a shop area.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and communicate effectively with team members. Shift flexibility including days, nights, and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Ability to walk, stand, and be physically active for extended periods.
Capable of learning computer systems and software.
Must be self-motivated and proactive.
Willing to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Fluent in English for clear communication.

Responsibilities

Receive, stock and record keeping of new and existing materials.
Communicate with staff and management to identify material needs.
Fill workstations with appropriate hardware and material, as identified.
Maintain records of materials using a scanner or designated computer program.
May utilize a forklift to transport, load and unload materials.
Adhere to safety policies and manufacturing practices to ensure quality.
Ensure quality by following standard work and identifying risks to product quality.
