Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Material Handler (Fabrication) on 2nd shift in Wisconsin. The role ensures the smooth, efficient flow of raw and fabricated material into, through, and out of the department using forklifts, cranes, and manual handling.

You will issue material from stock, prepare kits, deliver to docks and manufacturing areas, and maintain accurate SAP transactions. The job offers health benefits, paid holidays, weekly pay, shift premium, and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SAP transactions and ensure stock area cleanliness and address non-conformances.
• Move pallets and handle WIP to support machine operations.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Material Handler (Fabrication) - 2nd Shift.The hourly rate for this position is $21.45 + $2.50 shift differential per hour. The hours for this shift 3pm - 11pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000* paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.*Bonus terms:Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Uses forklifts (stand up and sit down), walk along, and 5 to 30-ton cranes.In this function, you will:• Issue material from stock location and kits material from daily release and pick list.• Prepare kits for transportation, delivers to dock area, and prepares appropriate packing list.• Deliver finished fabricated parts from machine area to the welding area, kitting area, interplant shipping docks, tagging pallets appropriately and staging them in the proper areas with pallet ID tags.• Deliver finished product out of fabrication and locates the material in internal customer Warehouse storage racks, maintaining proper SAP transactions and escalating issues around stock area cleanliness and remedying any non-conformance• Move pallets of in-process work to where they are accessible to various machines, marking these items appropriately with pallet ID tags.• Keep department provided with pallets and disposes of unusable pallets.• Stack work-in-process or component parts in storage racks.• Use 5-ton crane to unload bar stock and sheet steel from trucks. Locates material with proper identification attached and turns receiving paperwork in at the receiving desk for quality inspection. Unload coil steel for the Georg and locate it into the proper cradle, marking it appropriately.• Receive, locate, and issue “daily release” parts daily to assure proper inventory.• Disposes of all scrap steel into dumpsters outside of building. When dumpsters are ready to be shipped, makes out scrap tickets and notifies dispatcher, by telephone, at the scrap salvage company which dumpster to pick up.• Dispose of all scrap wood and interfaces with external vendors to maintain empty hoppers at all times for scrap wood disposal• Move raw material from receiving and locating to WIP and finished goods receiving, locating, tagging, and movement throughout the day without interruption• Deliver stand-up stackers and walkers for battery changes during the shift.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.• No relocation is being offered for this role.
