Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Virginia is seeking a Material Handler responsible for loading and unloading materials, maintaining the flow of goods, and ensuring inventory accuracy across the distribution center.

You will operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists and conveyors, assist in cycle counting and investigations of inventory issues, and contribute to continuous improvement within the distribution team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and repetitive pushing/pulling up to 800 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely and accurately.
• Maintain material flow and inventory accuracy across the facility.
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials; keep warehouse records.
• Support investigations of inventory or quality issues with the team.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the distribution department.
