Job summary

Dover Food Retail in South Chesterfield, VA, onsite, is seeking a Material Handler II to support loading, unloading, and moving materials to keep production and distribution flowing.

You will participate in cycle counts, maintain inventory accuracy, and operate forklifts and handling equipment. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years forklift experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely and accurately.
• Assist in cycle counting and inventory adjustments.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, conveyors or other equipment.
• Maintain ongoing inventory accuracy and report issues to Inventory Control/Receiving Lead.
• Collaborate with Distribution team to complete material transfers accurately and timely.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the distribution department.
