Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Virginia is seeking a Material Handler to safely load and unload materials and support the flow of goods to meet production and distribution needs.

You will operate forklifts and related equipment, assist in cycle counts, and help maintain inventory accuracy across the facility. The role integrates with the Distribution team to ensure timely transfers and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years forklift experience.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other equipment to move materials.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control and Receiving leads on material issues.
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials timely; maintain warehouse records.
• Support continuous improvement of the distribution team.
