Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a Material Handler in Ohio to ensure smooth material flow to production lines. You will prepare staging areas with packaging, raw materials, WIP and other items per BOM. You will operate powered industrial trucks to pull products, unload inbound trailers, and load outbound trailers.

Responsibilities include inventory entries, stock checks, FIFO, coordinating with the Inventory Analyst, and maintaining accurate documentation for transfers and shipments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret Bills of Lading and basic arithmetic.
• Comfort with learning RF scanning systems and entering data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor stock and WIP in staging locations with accurate inventory entries.
• Stock production lines with correct materials using product structure searches.
• Review dates and FIFO processes for material staging.
• Coordinate with Inventory Analyst to ensure adequate material supply for runs.
• Move materials to/from production floor and warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks).
• Perform pre-use checks on powered industrial trucks.
• Verify documentation (tags) for materials and WIP before movement.
