Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Material Handler in Ohio to store, move, and handle products in a GMP-focused environment. You will work on 2nd shift, operating sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks, while maintaining inventory accuracy and product labeling compliance.

Must have sit-down forklift experience and be able to obtain forklift certification within 90 days. Overtime and a $1.00 shift differential apply on this 2nd shift role in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMPs or willingness to learn.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
• Ability to operate stand-up and extended forklifts.
• Sufficient math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, transport, pack, remove and dispose of products and materials.
• Operate forklifts, handcarts, pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, load/unload orders.
• Maintain inventory levels as directed.
• Feed lines with product as scheduled or directed by supervision or line leads.
• Ship and receive materials throughout shift.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Count, weigh, record units or materials moved or handled.
• Ensure product moved is identified and labeled correctly.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain 5S and keep work areas clean.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
