Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support production in a busy Minnesota manufacturing facility. The permanent, day-shift role requires forklift operation, accurate inventory handling, and safe material movement.

You will load and unload trucks, stage materials, and coordinate with drivers while maintaining clean records and following PPE and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of forklift experience.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to safely move and handle large materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, including flatbeds and LTL shipments.
• Transport materials to production and welding departments.
• Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory.
• Pull and stage materials for production jobs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and paperwork.
• Verify shipments against packing lists and report discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse, storage areas, and yard organized.
• Work with drivers to safely load and unload materials.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and hoists.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with general shop and fabrication support as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
