Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent civilian/military education.
• Strong math, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer data entry and inventory logging skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and components against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
• Use a forklift to unload inbound trucks and transfer materials to storage locations.
• Perform quality and food safety checks on incoming materials and verify supplier paperwork.
• Collaborate with logistics carriers to ensure safe delivery of production materials.
• Safely operate material handling equipment to move inventory and finished goods.
• Stage and load outbound trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and trailer utilization.
• Maintain proper labeling, FIFO rotation, and organization of storage areas.
• Scan and track material movements in warehouse management systems and perform regular cycle counts.
• Assist with shipping/receiving paperwork and inventory audits.
