Job summary

Mars Petcare, Greenies team, is seeking a Material Handler for our North Kansas City, MO facility. This full-time role covers end-to-end logistics, from inbound materials to outbound shipments, in a climate-controlled environment.

The position interacts with production, purchasing, receiving, shipping, and quality teams. Day shift, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Experience with forklifts and strong teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming raw materials, packaging, and components against POs and manifests.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and stage them for production and shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory through scanning, cycle counts, and records in the plant system.
• Load outbound trailers, ensure proper weight distribution, and complete shipping/receiving paperwork.
