Job summary

A leading automotive parts manufacturer in Mississippi is seeking a Material Handler to ensure packaged goods meet quality standards before shipment. Responsibilities include stacking and packing products, preparing goods for shipping, and maintaining cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, at least one year of boxing or packing experience, and be capable of handling physical duties. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of boxing/packing experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
• High school education required.
• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand the majority of the shift (8–12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Stack and pile finished goods into containers.
• Prepare goods for shipment.
• Pack goods following specific instructions.
• Clean and prepare containers for packing.
• Ensure containers are damage free.
• Verify items pulled out of package are correct.
• Fill out forms to record measurement, weight, and product count.
• Remove completed or defective products.
• Review packing lists.
• Seal, label, and tag containers.
