Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building the world’s largest lithium-ion battery factory. The Material Handler will move materials, support production, manage inventory, and handle shipping/receiving with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

This role requires operating material handling equipment, completing accurate documentation, and maintaining 6S workplace organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with material handling and inventory control is preferred.
• Proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking) and a teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and components to production areas.
• Load/unload materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and walkie riders.
• Inspect incoming materials and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform regular inventory checks and monitor material flow.
• Maintain 6S and safe operating procedures for all tasks.
