Job summary

O‘Neal Manufacturing Services in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Material Handler I for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm–2:00am) with occasional overtime. On-site role responsible for safe forklift operation, receiving/shipping, inventory storage, and kit assembly in a warehouse environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic critical thinking, and ability to read blueprints. Candidates must be able to operate forklifts and cranes, follow safety guidelines, and maintain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic critical thinking and high attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes with pendant radio controls and maintain certifications.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safety Commitment: Follow all safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Shipping and Receiving: Receive inbound inventory and verify accuracy; place materials into designated storage locations.
• Material Handling: Move materials within the facility using forklifts and other equipment.
• Parts Cleaning and Assembly: Clean parts and assemble products or kits as required.
• Quality and Accuracy: Ensure error-free work for internal and external customers; follow safety and quality programs.
• General Duties: Maintain a clean, organized work area; work under direct supervision; perform other duties as assigned.
