Job summary

O'Neal Steel in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift to load and unload materials within a warehouse environment. The role requires operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other handling equipment, plus reading tape measures and using common hand tools to move material safely.

You will work 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed, and participate in safety and quality programs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must operate a range of material handling equipment including forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader.
• Must read and interpret a tape measure accurately.
• Provide high-quality work to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of material handling equipment (forklift, crane, stacker, side loader).
• Use hand tools (grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench).
• Accurately read a tape measure and report measurements.
• Ensure timely and accurate output for internal/external customers.
