Job summary

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a 2nd shift Loader at our Shelbyville, IN facility. The Loader will move material in the warehouse using forklifts, cranes, conveyors and other handling equipment, following established guidelines to ensure accurate shipments and safe operations.

Key duties include loading/unloading, reading tape measures, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety standards. Overtime may be required and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Maintain safe and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material (70%+ of the time).
• Verify accuracy of material and packaging for each order.
• Learn and retain product knowledge and rigging procedures across products.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain output quality.
