Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a 2nd shift production worker to support the glass fabrication and packaging processes in our facility. You will move materials, assist with production schedules, and help maintain equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

We value punctuality and reliable attendance, with opportunities for overtime and potential raises based on performance. The role offers shift pay premium and a benefits package designed to support employees and families.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctual and have excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using equipment and manually to facilitate production.
• Understand the schedule and inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as cleaning and inspections.
• Understand and apply inspection procedures to pass or reject materials/products.

Starting Pay $20.00 per hour

2nd Shift - 2:00pm to 10:00pm (an additional $2.00 per hour shift premium paid)

What You’ll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
