Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Wright City, MO is seeking a manufacturing associate to support our production line, move materials, assist with scheduling, perform light maintenance, and apply inspection tolerances to pass or reject items. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with overtime and potential for annual raises and bonuses.

• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Able to perform basic math and read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment and manual handling.
• Understanding the schedule and inventory requirements to keep production on schedule.
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures to pass or reject materials.

Starting Pay $20.00 per hour

What You'll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products

What We’re Looking For

• Prior manufacturing experience
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure
• Punctual and excellent attendance
• Be available for overtime and emergency work
