Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in the United States is seeking a production-oriented team member to move materials, monitor inventory, and support the production line to keep schedules on track.

You will perform basic maintenance, apply inspection tolerances, read simple instructions, and use a tape measure. Punctuality, reliability, and willingness to work overtime are essential as we aim for safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write, perform basic math, and read a tape measure.
• Punctual and excellent attendance.
• Be available for overtime and emergency work.

Responsibilities

• Moving materials (primarily glass) using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting, and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process
• Understanding the schedule and the inventory requirements to keep production on schedule
• Performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting
• Understanding and applying inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or products
