Job summary

MCC Label is hiring a Material Handler to support production, safety, and quality standards in our Missouri facility. The role involves moving materials, coordinating with teams, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, basic math and reading skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent safety awareness and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layout to produce quality product.
• Plans/schedules to maximize throughput.
• Coordinates workflow with Associates.
• Maintains performance metrics at or above target.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in equipment maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Enters job tracking/payroll data into systems.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper containers with documentation.
• Follows safety policies (GMP, HAACP, BRC) and regulations.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and professional conduct.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company's core strategies and moves products to accommodate production.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layout to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Understands and executes plans/schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to effectively maximize throughput.
• Works closely with all Associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Performance metrics must be at the average or greater for this position.
• Completes required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Safely operates material moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments. Assists with preventative maintenance.
• Correctly enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers. Mark and identify containers with required documentation.
• Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining the company code of ethics.
• Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment. Forklift experience, required.
• Basic math and reading skills.
