Job summary

MCC in Neenah, WI is hiring a Material Handler to safely move products, read job tickets, and support production schedules. You will coordinate with multiple departments to maximize throughput and keep shipments accurate.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and solid math, reading, and computer skills. Strong communication and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-moving equipment to transport products and supplies.
• Read and interpret job tickets and layouts to ensure correct materials are delivered to production.
• Execute production schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput.
• Coordinate workflow with associates across departments to maintain efficiency.
• Accurately complete required documentation for job tracking, payroll, and inventory control.
• Enter data into systems to support production and shipping accuracy.
• Label and identify waste containers properly and maintain disposal procedures.
• Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support daily housekeeping and safety observations to sustain a safe workplace.

Responsibilities:

Material Handling & Workflow

• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes preferred.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
