Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler for a busy manufacturing site in Delaware, OH. This role centers on operating a stand-up forklift, moving materials, and supporting production with accurate picking and shipping/receiving activities.

The position requires at least 2 years of forklift experience, familiarity with ERP/WMS, and a commitment to safety. It is a first-shift contract-to-hire role with potential overtime and regular benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience operating a stand-up forklift in a professional setting.
Experience in material handling within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience picking orders and moving materials of varying sizes.
Familiarity with material handling systems and basic inventory processes.
Exposure to ERP or warehouse management systems for tracking materials and inventory.
Experience supporting shipping and receiving in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Operate a stand-up forklift to move materials safely throughout the facility.
Pick and stage orders to support production and shipping schedules.
Load and unload materials and maintain organized work areas.
Transfer raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods between departments.
Use ERP/WMS to track inventory and material movements.
