Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Forklift Operator for a first-shift contract-to-hire role in Wooster, OH. You will safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and support production and shipping workflows.

You will perform basic inventory checks using RF scanners, read simple blueprints, and assist with packing, picking and staging of materials.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Proven record of safely handling materials and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Transport products using reach trucks, pallet jacks, tow motors and related equipment.
• Perform inventory tasks and cycle counts with RF scanners.
• Read blueprints to identify correct components for production or shipping.
• Assist with packing, picking and order fulfillment for outbound shipments.
• Inspect incoming materials and stage for storage or processing.
