Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Material Handler in a Fortune 500 warehousing environment. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment of goods, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

The position supports a climate-controlled facility, requires 0–2 years in logistics, and offers onsite shifts with potential overtime. Training is provided, and benefits may include health options and retirement plans.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years of related experience, preferably in logistics with a life science company.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and meet schedules.
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and equipment at various heights.
Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and/or shipment per procedures and customer requirements.
Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verify quality, type, and amount, and ensure documentation.
Safely operate distribution equipment as required.
Work in a warehouse with varying temperatures (room, cold, freezer).
Communicate effectively with internal personnel and customers.
Recognize deviations from accepted practices in recurring work situations.
