Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler in Ohio to support a busy steel warehouse. The role involves accurate picking, staging, and packaging for orders, with a shift change after an initial training period. You will work with inventory systems, follow SOPs, and perform physical material handling in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have manufacturing experience, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and comfort using tape measures. Weekly pay with overtime at time-and-a-half is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a steel/industrial warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and operate related equipment.
• Proficiency with tape measures and inventory systems.
• Comfort with computers for inventory and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Review pick tickets and select correct material grades, sizes, and inventory numbers.
• Locate materials via inventory system and verify locations.
• Pull and stage materials for orders and outbound shipments.
• Package materials per company standards and customer specs.
• Use computers to verify locations, update status, and process orders.
• Perform physical material handling following safety instructions.
• Operate material handling equipment safely per SOPs.
• Follow detailed work instructions for quality and consistency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area with regular housekeeping.
• Overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
