Job summary

Kapco Inc. in Osceola, WI is hiring a Material Handler for 1st shift to support a busy shop floor. Responsibilities include moving raw materials, coils, and packaging supplies, loading coils, returning items to proper locations, and ensuring accurate inventory paperwork.

Qualifications

• Picks up and delivers raw materials, WIP, and packaging supplies to/from presses and shipping areas.
• Loads coils and returns materials to inventory.
• Disposes of scrap and completes inventory paperwork.
• Must complete forklift certification program.
• Performs pre-shift forklift maintenance checks and records.

Kapco Inc. is looking for a Material Handler on 1st shift at our Osceola, WI facility. The ideal candidate for this position would be able to do the following:

• Picks up and delivers raw materials, work in process inventory, and packaging supplies, as needed, to and from the presses and shipping areas
• Loads coils
• Returns correctly identified materials to proper location in inventory
• Disposes of scrap
• Performs necessary identification and inventory paperwork
• Successfully completes forklift certification program
• Practices safe and alert material handling at all times
• Performs pre-shift maintenance checks of designated forklift equipment and associated record keeping
• Must be able to plan for movement of needed parts and material for production
• Keeps all materials and products neat and organized
• Assists production operators with timely delivery of products and containers, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
