Job summary

BostonFAM is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to unload and sort products, store and retrieve inventory, assist with customer pickups, and inspect items for damage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
• Availability to work 1st shift (6:30am-3pm).
• Forklift experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Physical activity involving climbing, lifting, and handling of materials.

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort furniture and appliances from semi-trailers.
• Move products within the warehouse and place in racking.
• Assist in retrieving products and loading into customer vehicles.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage.

About The Role

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to unload and sort products, store and retrieve inventory, assist with customer pickups, and inspect items for damage.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (6:30am to 3pm)

What you will be doing each day:

• Unload and sort furniture and appliances from semi-trailers
• Move products to appropriate location within the warehouse, including using order picker to place product in racking
• Assist in retrieving products from warehouse racking and loading product into customer vehicles and/or trailers
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

We are looking for individuals with:

• Availability to work 1st shift hours (6:30am-3pm)
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects
• Forklift/lift experience preferred but not required - will train
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
