Job summary

BostonFAM is an Employee-Owned furniture retailer hosting an in-person hiring event at the Marinette Rec Center on Thursday 9/24 from 10am to 4pm. The Warehouse Associate assists in loading/unloading, stocking, and preparing merchandise for display while supporting customers and store operations.

The role requires weekend availability and willingness to travel to other store locations. Base pay $17.00 per hour with non-exempt status and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a team, establish priorities, and be professional.
• Positive professional attitude with peers and management.
• Provide superior customer service to all customers.
• Lift and move heavy objects weighing 100-150 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading furniture and appliances from trucks.
• Moving and unpacking furniture and appliances.
• Prepping merchandise to be on display on the store floor.
• Assist with keeping all areas of the warehouse clean and safe.
• Operate equipment and tools as needed.
• Assist in accurate inventory control.
• Basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.

About The Role:

The Warehouse Associate works alongside the Store Manager to help move floor display products, unload trucks with new items or transferred items into the warehouse, assist customers with order pickups. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading furniture from vehicles, assembling and placing items according to instructions, and ensuring all products are handled with care to prevent damage. Schedule - Weekend availability and willingness to travel to other store locations in the market as needed.
