Job summary

BostonFAM is looking for a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support delivery drivers, load/unload furniture, assemble items, and ensure safe, on-time delivery to customers. You will spend most of your day on the road, delivering merchandise and delivering superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting 100–150 pounds regularly and adhering to safety procedures. Starting pay is $19 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus and a 4-day work week, typically 35–50 hours

About The Role:

The Furniture Delivery Assistant works alongside delivery drivers to ensure furniture is delivered safely, efficiently, and in excellent condition to customers. Responsibilities include loading and unloading furniture from delivery vehicles, assembling and placing items according to customer instructions, and ensuring all products are handled with care to prevent damage.

What You Should Know

• This is a physically demanding role that requires regularly lifting, carrying, and moving furniture and home goods weighing up to 100–150 pounds.
• You will work a 4-day work week, providing an extra day off while maintaining a full-time schedule.
• Helpers typical average 35–50 hours per week, depending on delivery volume, routes, and seasonal business needs.
• You will spend most of your workday on the road delivering merchandise and interacting directly with customers, making strong customer service skills essential.
• Safety is a top priority. Helpers are expected to follow all company safety procedures, vehicle operation guidelines, and applicable state regulations.
