BostonFAM’s Furniture & ApplianceMart Distribution Center in Stevens Point is seeking a reliable and hardworking assembler to join our Prep Department. You will help prepare, assemble, and inspect furniture and appliances to ensure quality and great service.

Schedule: 6:30am to 3pm - Wednesday through Sunday. The role requires physical activity and use of basic tools; the company offers employee ownership, benefits, and a supportive growth culture.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
• Physical activities incl. climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture and prep items using hand and power tools.
• Unpack and inspect furniture and appliances for quality.
• Check stock for wear or defects and report damage.
• Move loads to/from production areas and delivery trucks.

About the Role

Furniture & ApplianceMart’s Distribution Center in Stevens Point is looking for a reliable and hardworkingAssembler to join our Prep Department!

In this role, you'll help prepare, assemble, and inspect furniture and appliances to ensure our customers receive quality products and amazing service.

Schedule: 6:30am to 3pm - Wednesday through Sunday

What You Will Be Doing Each Day

• Utilize tools to prepare and assemble furniture.
• Unpack and inspect furniture and appliances to evaluate product quality.
• Examine stock items for wear or defects and report any damage to supervisors.
• Move and load products to and from production areas and delivery trucks.

We Are Looking for Individuals With

• High School Diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects.
• The ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
• The ability to use basic tools such as a hammer, power drill, and wrench.
• Availability to work weekends, potential evening hours, and some afternoons.
