Job summary

Boston FAM in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations, including loading and unloading furniture and appliances, maintaining a safe warehouse, and assisting with inventory control.

About The Role

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by loading and unloading trucks, moving and unpacking furniture and appliances, and preparing merchandise for distribution. The role includes maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting with inventory accuracy, and operating warehouse equipment.

What you will be doing each day

• Loading and unloading furniture and appliances from trucks
• Moving and unpacking furniture and appliances
• Picking and prepping merchandise
• Assist in keeping all areas of the warehouse clean and safe
• Proficient in all skills needed to operate equipment and tools
• Assist in accurate inventory control
• Maintenance of equipment

We are looking for individuals with

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Availability to work 1st shift hours (10 am‑6:30 pm) Sunday‑Thursday
• The ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects
• Forklift/lift experience preferred but not required - will train
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
