Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The general responsibilities for this position include:

1. Maintaining inventory levels by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies.
2. Transporting heavy materials using a forklift both inside and outside of buildings.
3. Determining production requirements based on work orders.
4. Verifying items and quantities on packing slips and managing shipping and receiving.
5. Packaging materials and parts securely for shipment.
6. Communicating with internal customers regarding material requests.
7. Developing bills of lading and delivery forms.
8. Locating and verifying materials and supplies against production orders.
9. Performing cycle counts of inventory as directed.
10. Using current inventory computer systems.
11. Sorting items according to destination and verifying against purchase orders.
12. Operating forklifts up to 30,000 lbs capacity.
13. Operating Mobile Cranes.
14. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
15. Performing other duties as assigned.
