Position Details

Position: First (1st) Shift Material Handler
Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $18.25 per hour
Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for monthly performance and safety incentive bonuses!

Role Purpose

Responsible for operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products. Ensures all inbound and outbound products are checked for damage, infestation, and proper coding, matching customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Physically load products onto equipment, pallets, or totes, covering more than 20% of your shift.
2. Put-away and pick products for shipment or stock, ensuring accuracy in quantity and type.
3. Verify outgoing shipments match customer orders in quantity, quality, and labeling.
4. Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources.
5. Report discrepancies such as unavailable products or OS&D issues.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly facility and inspect equipment daily.
7. Perform daily equipment inspections.
8. Assist with physical inventories.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
