Description

Receiving and shipping products, inventory control, parts kit assembly, and associated computer functions. Additional responsibilities include assisting in controlling raw and manufactured parts inventory, general/preventative maintenance of departmental tools and equipment, and participating in cross-training as both trainer and trainee when assigned.

Job Details

• Location: Main Campus - Westminster, MD
• Type: Full Time
• Salary: $21.00/hour
• Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Acts under management of Plant Manager.
• Utilizes work order processing software.
• Prepares outbound shipments.
• Unloads and receives inbound shipments.
• Delivers parts/supplies to workstations.
• Processes outbound work orders and receivers.
• Prepares small and large parts kits.
• Maintains inventory at optimum levels.
• Participates in cross-training as trainer and trainee in Shipping/Receiving.
• Maintains a safe and clean workspace.
• Contributes to system and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to accurately utilize a tape measure.
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds individually.
• Physical ability to work full day lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling in a loud environment.
• Ability to judge distances and read signs.
• Experience in material handling/warehouse preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current OSHA Forklift License (training provided).
• High School Diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
