Job summary

MCC Label is hiring a Material Handler to support production with safe material movement, accurate ticket interpretation, and efficient workflow coordination. You will operate forklift equipment, manage inventory movements, and ensure documentation is completed accurately.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP/HAACP/BRC compliance, and teamwork across shifts to meet production goals. Prior forklift experience and basic math/reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift operation experience required
• Basic math and reading skills
• Computer literacy
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Frequent standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving is a plus

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
• Follows schedules to maximize throughput in an accurate and prompt manner.
• Works closely with associates to coordinate the workflow.
• Maintains performance metrics at or above the position average.
• Completes required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Safely operates material-moving equipment.
• Assists in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments; supports preventative maintenance.
• Enters information into systems for job tracking and payroll.
• Disposes of waste materials into proper storage containers and labels containers with required documentation.
• Complies with facility safety policies and regulations (GMP, HAACP, BRC) as applicable.
• Interacts professionally; maintains the company code of ethics.
• Maintains daily housekeeping and participates in special projects.
