Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Reads and interprets a variety of stage plans, picklists, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), or WIs (Work Instructions).
- Accurately records information on travelers; operates barcoding and other computerized equipment.
- Operates material handling equipment (RF devices, label machines, weight scales, and some power equipment such as forklifts, pickers, or pallet jacks).
- Uses RF devices to pick materials from warehouse accounts, deboxes and labels materials, weighs and counts materials, issues materials to work orders, and transfers materials to manufacturing.
- Conducts quality inspections of parts and lot numbers, following procedures to ensure accurate transfers, transactions, and labeling.
- Ensures all documentation on sterile load forms is accurate.
- Performs receiving duties, including unloading/loading trailers, entering receiving data into the MRP system, and putting away inspected materials.
- Participates in cycle counts and bay audits for inventory management.
- Performs data entry transactions using SAP to ensure smooth workflow.
- Performs duties such as cleaning, processing returns, QA transfers, scrapping materials, and mixing polymers.
- Ensures quality by accurate data entry of work order closeouts, visual inspection of products, and proper labeling.
- Maintains safety by ensuring a clean work environment, safe operation of equipment, and proper certification for power equipment.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Builds quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with quality standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements: Ability to communicate actively with Production Coordinator and/or Supervisor, work proactively in a fast-paced environment, and accommodate disabilities as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and seek guidance when necessary.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to follow directions, be self-motivated, flexible, and cooperative.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to operate powered equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, in a high-paced environment.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical aptitude for operating and adjusting machinery.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operating instructions, and write routine reports.
Physical Demands:
- Work safely following OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Report injuries immediately.
- Exposure to a clean room environment.
- Frequently lift/move up to 35 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk regularly; perform repetitive movements with good coordination and vision.

The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $23.75 hourly, depending on location, experience, skills, and abilities.
