The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with weekly pay through Adecco and access to medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits for eligible associates.
Adecco is hiring a Material Handler in South Burlington, VT! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting production operations. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and storing materials and supplies while accurately recording inventory locations in Oracle.
Locate, pull, verify, and deliver materials and supplies using move orders and pick slips.
Process material transactions and maintain accurate inventory records within Oracle.
Receive returned materials from production, verify item and lot numbers, confirm quantities, and return items to inventory.
Prepare finished products for shipment by picking, packing, crating, loading, and securing materials according to established procedures.
Perform pre-use inspections and help maintain material handling equipment and scales.
Troubleshoot routine issues and seek assistance when necessary to ensure efficient operations.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles throughout production, warehouse, and common areas.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects.
Follow all operating procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Support team goals and perform additional duties as assigned.
Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, material handling, or manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience using inventory management systems or ERP software such as Oracle is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
