Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus shift differential of $1.00

Shift available: 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, plus overtime when needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with hands. This job description reflects tasks performed across various departments. Forklift experience is required.

  • Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
  • Support window operations by delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
  • Operate hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers at workstations.
  • Understand and follow verbal instructions.
  • Read and follow simple written instructions, work orders, labels, and schedules.
  • Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe products for defects.
  • Make fraction and decimal conversions.
  • Operate necessary equipment to perform job tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
  • Read and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor.
  • Attach labels and tags to products and packaging.
  • Notify supervisor of mechanical or material issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform general labor duties.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; previous experience is a plus.
  • Team-oriented, dependable, energetic.
  • Flexible with working day or night shifts and weekends if needed.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus.
  • Mechanically inclined.
