Job description

Quanex is looking for Material Handlers to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.

The material handler is responsible for sorting parts, performing quality inspections on molded parts, and separating and sorting scrap material.

• Hours of Operation: 4 Day work weeks (10-hour shifts)

What Success Looks Like:

• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
• Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.
• Inspect parts according to specifications for quality, color, fit, form, and function.
• Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
• Keeps the sorting area neat, clean, and orderly.

Your Credentials:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

The hourly wage for this position is $15.00/hr.
